Learning to navigate is an important step toward being a truly independent diver because it provides the means to explore the underwater world without relying on a guide. You will learn about: 1. natural navigation 2. compass navigation 3. special navigation situations. With the skills you acquire, you will be able to incorporate navigation into your dive plan, use navigation techniques to reach a dive site and return to the exit area, and enjoy the spectrum of possibilities provided by knowing how to use a compass. |
